Tips For Planning A Wedding On A Budget

FREDERICK, MD - The holidays are a popular time for couples to get engaged, but planning a MD wedding in a bad economy can be tricky.

Randy Hively, the president of the Frederick Area Bridal Network says one way to keep the final price tag down is to negotiate with your vendors. Take advantage of the bad economy and ask for more for your money.

Hively also recommends booking in advance. He says many brides are having trouble letting go of their cash, but booking early can save you a lot of money.

Hively said, By booking it in advance, you're going to lock in those prices. If you wait till six months before your wedding, those prices may be up."
